Would you like to share your Power BI Report with the world using a public link?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Look no further than this method:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. First open your Power BI Report in the Power BI Service.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Go to File > Embed report > Publish to web (public).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    After a few self-explanatory steps, this will give you a link that you can share with other people, even though they do not have a Power BI account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    This can be useful when you would like to share a project with a future potential client\/employer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Careful though, don\u2019t share private data in this manner!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    As a sidenote, I created this dashboard in the past using one of #EnterpriseDNA Data Modeling Workouts. In case you\u2019re interested, you can still find these workouts with a quick web search.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    As another sidenote, I am publishing these Power BI Reports to my workspace because I am updating my CV Power BI Report. I am getting rid of my Power BI Pro license for now, and this means that the Power BI Reports that I published to other workspaces than \u201cmy workspace\u201d need to be migrated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
