If you\u2019re anything like me, you probably used AI to generate the CRON expression that matched your needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sometimes however, I like using my own brain for a change. In that spirit, I did a little refresher on the (traditional Unix) CRON syntax. I\u2019d like to share it with you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table class=\"has-fixed-layout\"><tbody><tr><td>*<\/td><td>*<\/td><td>*<\/td><td>*<\/td><td>*<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Minute<\/td><td>Hour<\/td><td>Day (month)<\/td><td>Month<\/td><td>Day (week)<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>&nbsp;<\/td><td>&nbsp;<\/td><td>&nbsp;<\/td><td>&nbsp;<\/td><td>0=7=Sunday<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>* = any value<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>, = value list separator. E.g. 1,5 = the values 1 and 5.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; = range of values. E.g. 2-6 = the values 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\/ = step values.
