All kidding aside, Network Policies are a great way to enhance the security of your Snowflake account.

Using Network Rules (which are a part of a Network Policy), you can create a list of allowed IP addresses and/or a list of blocked IP addresses It’s important to note that network policies don’t take effect until they are activated. When activating a policy, ensure that your current IP address is included in the allowed list to avoid locking yourself out of the account because try explaining that one to your boss.
